Before Milio releases his much-anticipated debut solo album on Atomnation later in the year, the Dutch artist serves up three superb tracks from it which you can listen & download here.

Emiel van den Dungen's debut EP came on Atomnation in 2020 and was the first music he released solo while still working on the successful Tunnelvisions collaboration. As a solo artist, he is someone who spends hours in his basement studio, live jamming on synths until tracks start to appear. He often invites friends and crowds to join in, which means dancing breaks out and expressive new music frequently reveals itself. Some of these magical sessions have given rise to the three new tracks on this new EP. They all continue to explore Milio's artful house sound, where lush synths and emotive chord structures are layered up to perfection.

Opener 'Allround Player' features vocalist Sjengsen delivering a forlorn vocal hook over a light but choppy house beat and dark bassline. The track is constantly ascending, with a rugged lead synth phrase making way for more delicate and dreamy pads before subtle acid also colours these warm and wavy grooves. 'Ave' is perfect cosmic house, with slick drums and sleek pads, smeared chords and starry melodies all capturing a glowing late night vibe. The exquisite synth craft continues on the soothing interplanetary trip that is 'Goenavund.' Its twinkling ambient pads and deep, mid-tempo drums are topped off with a pinch of cosmic dust and a fat, irresistible acid bassline.

These are three heartfelt house tracks that take you to a grown-up party high amongst the stars.
